#5: Monument to Offense – Shi Pratt. Sunday 25th August, 13:00 – 15:30
In this workshop, we explore how we can reshape the spaces we engage in by using the acts of observation and attentive usership. Through physical tasks and playful structures, we will occupy a space which is in continuous change in order to create new migratory habits within it. By looking at the social phenomenon of differentiation and categorization of the people or the spaces we encounter, we will toy with how we can cause an already charged space to pulse in another way. As we scrabble new and pre-existing elements we leave a footprint of the interactions we had within it. We will test how through the action of navigating the space and creating new spontaneous choreographic rituals, we might reclaim and create a new meaning of the landscape.
